Yaffa Café, East Village 2014

The BEST late night spot in Greenwich Village closed in 2014. In this restaurant you'd find a black velvet Elvis painting, a huge mural in it's backyard garden of a woman with a Led Zepplin tattoo, beading everywhere, lamps with nude women, an angel fountain & oh, how I could go on (like the carrot ginger dressing)...

New York City is being torn down, it's very sad. I am a native New Yorker & I can't believe how much my city has changed. I'm posting these photos for sale for those of you that want a little bit of the "real" New York. Some of these photos are all that are left.
